Keynote - Mathias Michael
In November of 2011, Mathias attended the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was at this conference that Mathias won the first ever "Top Talent" competition sponsored by Heartbeat records. The result? Mathias was given the opportunity to record his very first album "I Believe." "It was kind of a shock to me. Up until the conference, I had never even considered the possibility of pursuing music as a career. That all changed in 2011, and I have Heartbeat records to thank for that. Even so, I had no clue what I was doing when I first started writing for the album. I give a lot of credit to Sal Solo, my producer at the time. He walked me through the recording process and mentored me during that crazy transition time. The music that was produced was great. Our aim was to make music that fit well in the Catholic retreat setting. 'I Believe' includes everything from silly jams like 'Superheroes' to contemplative ballads like 'Pick Me Up Today.' There's a little something for everyone, and in retrospect, it really gave me an idea of what styles suited me best. 'I Believe' was an excellent stepping stone and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me in the future,"

Born in a time not too long ago, in a town not so far away(Plainview) Frank has been close to home his whole life. He still resides in Plainview with his beautiful wife Marisa Aguilera, And three children Annabel, Alison, and baby Trip. After finishing high school he attended both Wayland Baptist University and South Plains College studying music. During that
time he grew very close to music ministry and worship. “The summer of 04′ was very influential to me. Because of the internship I had with Lifeteen I was able to work close and observe some of my favorite Catholic musicians. That experience I think is still what helps drive me today to keep serving when called. Worship is a place of discovery for me, where I can actively seek God in prayer. I hope always that my prayer will translate and resonate with all participating.”
God Bless Frank Aguilera
