40 Days, 40 Churches

The 40 Days, 40 Churches campaign in the Diocese of Amarillo is nearing its final stages, with the event concluding Sunday, Nov. 2, according to Stephanie Frausto, director of Respect Life Ministries for the Diocese of Amarillo.

Formerly known as 40 Days for Life in the Diocese of Amarillo, 40 Days, 40 Churches began Sept. 24. Parishes who have announced dates for prayer and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament are:

• St. John the Evangelist Church, Borger, on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and Wednesday, Oct. 22;
• St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dalhart, on Wednesday, Oct. 22;
• St. Laurence Church, Amarillo, and St. John the Evangelist Church, Borger, both on Thursday, Oct. 23;
• St. Joseph’s Church and St. Laurence Church, both in Amarillo, on Wednesday, Oct. 29;
• St. Laurence Church, Amarillo, and St. John the Evangelist Church, Borger, both on Thursday, Oct. 30; and,
• St. Mary’s Church, Umbarger, on Sunday, Nov. 2.
