Hereford—Preparations continue for the annual Karnival Krazy to benefit St. Anthony’s School. This year’s celebration is set for Sunday, Oct. 18 from noon to 5:00pm on the school grounds at 120 West Park Ave.
Activities begin with a Brisket Lunch at noon that will feature smoked brisket, German Sausage and all the fixings, including dessert. Tickets for the meal are $10.00 per person.
Karnival Krazy will include a Country Store, with crafts, homemade baked and canned items, along with a silent auction. There will also be carnival games for old and young alike, including a basketball toss, face painting, bingo, a toy walk, cake walk, duck and fish ponds. Adding variety to the day will be outdoor games, such as crisscross collision, a funhouse maze, and a rock climbing wall.
All proceeds earned from Karnival Krazy benefit the St. Anthony Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), according to school spokesperson Judith Grotegut. The PTO uses these funds to enhance the education and learning environment at St. Anthony School.
“Since 1917, St. Anthony’s School has educated elementary students in the Hereford area with a rigorous core curriculum that includes Catholic education,” she said. “Food, fun, and fellowship make Karnival Krazy one for the entire family to attend while supporting Catholic education.”
