Amarillo—The inaugural Fairway of Hope Golf Scramble to benefit Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle is set for Thursday, Oct. 10 on the Mustang Course at Ross Rogers Golf Course, 722 NW 24th Ave.
Registration begins at 10:30am and lunch will be served, with play beginning with a shotgun start at noon. There will be prizes for the top three finishers in each flight. There will be a longest drive hole and a closest-to-the-pin hole. There will also be an opportunity to win prizes on one hole for a hole-in-one.
Entry fee is $125 per golfer, or $500 for a team of four, which includes cart, green fees, good bags and lunch. Mulligans will be available for purchase.
Sponsorships are available for those wishing to sponsor this four-man scramble. This includes: • Title sponsorship, at $2,500; • Hole sponsorship, at $1,000 per hole; • Tee box sponsorship, at $125 per hole. Teams and sponsorships must be paid by Monday, Sept. 30 to guarantee their spot.
