Lenten Mission At St. Joseph’s Church

Amarillo—St. Joseph’s Church at 4122 South Bonham will offer a Lenten Mission Sunday, night at 6:00.
 
Indulgences Jubilee Year: The Best Kept Secrets in the Catholic Church is the theme of the
mission is being conducted by Howard A. Huntzinger Jr., former control room manager at NASA. Huntzinger is the author of the book Unlocking Indulgences: A Treasury for All the Faithful.
 
Huntzinger lives in Shallowater, where he serves at the Ambassadors of the Flame of Mercy Mission. He and his family joined the Ambassdors in 1994 after 15 years of working at NASA’s Mission Control Center. Huntzinger and his wife, Carolyn, have both dedicated themselves through the Ambassadors organization to promoting reconciliation between God and men through the mystery of the Holy Trinity by bringing the love of God the Father, the healing of God the Son and the empowerment of God the Holy Spirit into action, with the Blessed Virgin Mary as the organization’s role model.
