In order to increase volunteers (ministers), what areas does leadership need to focus on? REQUIRED Ask - Most people don’t volunteer because no one asks them. Personal invitations are the only way to be really successful. Need to Target people on all levels ( General, Specific and Target Recruitment) Structure: need to set up a structure that will help invite parishioners to serve. Lack of training available at the parish level. Lack of Formation - Formation involves the spiritual and relational aspects of leadership development. Lack of Support: Affirmation and acknowledgement, doing, feedback and evaluation things that help a person volunteer, No job description - volunteers don't know what leadership is asking of them.
