St. Laurence Church will host its fifth annual Rosary Rally Saturday, Oct. 12 in the church parking lot at 2300 North Spring.
“We will pray the Rosary at the beginning of each hour from 10:00am to 3:00pm, for the reparation of sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and for the sin of abortion,” said Dianna Clayton, who started the Rosary Rally in 2009. “The Rosary will be led each hour by a different group from St. Laurence Church.”
The Rally, which is open to all people of good will regardless of religious denomination, will end at 3:00 with the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
“October is the month of the Holy Rosary,” said Clayton. “We as Catholics should pray the Rosary every day. The Rosary is a powerful weapon against satan. I believe through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, we can diminish satan’s power and return our world to its natural order, living in union with the Will of God.”
