Amarillo—The 19th annual Respect Life Banquet will take place Sunday, Feb. 7 in the Heritage Room of the Amarillo Civic Center, 401 South Buchanan.
Activities begin with social hour at 4:00pm, with dinner served at 5:00.
Tickets are $50 per person, which includes a prime rib dinner catered by the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, according to Stephanie Frausto, director of Respect Life Ministries for the Diocese of Amarillo.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be nationally-known motivational speaker and award-winning author Chad Judice.
“Chad Judice has written two inspiring pro-life books, Waiting for Eli and Eli’s Reach, whose central character is his second son, Eli, who was born with spina bifida,” said Frausto. “A 16-week ultrasound revealed that Eli had been diagnosed with a birth defect so severe that 80% of the couples who receive this diagnosis choose to terminate the pregnancy. Chad and his wife Ashley chose to pray for a miracle.
“Please put Sunday, Feb. 7 on your calendar and bring everyone you know that has ever been tried and tested in their faith journey to our annual banquet. Chad Judice’s story is truly meant to be proclaimed during this Jubilee of Mercy.”
