Calling All Artists

Amarillo—The Diocesan Museum and Archives are once again seeking painters for participation in an art show Thursday, July 24 in the diocesan museum at 4512 NE 24^th Ave., inside the Diocesan Pastoral Center.

The theme of the art show is Scenes from the Bible. Paintings will be accepted for this year’s show; please, no mixed medium.

Top prize is $3,000. Second prize is $1,500 and third prize is $500. The winning painting will become the property of the diocesan museum to be placed on display.

Paintings will be judged from 6:00pm to 8:00pm during the art show. Paintings must be at the museum on or before Wednesday, July 23 and must depict a scene from the Bible.
