Amarillo—Did you miss the deadline to book a Thematic Retreat for the 2024-25 school year?
If your parish missed that deadline, you have a reprieve.
The Diocesan Youth Office is still booking Deanery Retreats, according to Diocesan Youth Director Oscar Guzman.
The theme of this year’s retreat is Triumphant.
“We can have up to eight retreats per year,” said Guzman. “That works out to one per cluster.”
Already booked to host retreats are Immaculate Conception Church, Perryton; St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dalhart; St. Anthony’s Church, Hereford; and, St. Laurence Church, Amarillo.
Details on this year’s retreat are nearly worked out, according to Guzman. The Triumphant Thematic Retreats are being offered by the Diocesan Youth Office, with assistance from Covenant Teen.
