Why do you teach at a Catholic School, compared to a Public School? “Catholic Schools are all I have ever known. Having attended them myself, my only desire always was to be a part of one as a teacher.”
Why are Catholic Schools important? “Catholic Schools are important because children, and all people, are whole beings and need to have their education experience intertwined with their faith life and the value system that they follow.”
What is your philosophy when it comes to the classroom? “The philosophy that I have always worked off of is that all children need an environment in which they feel safe and loved. They need to belong and be accepted by others. Then when these conditions are met, they can truly learn and become whatever it is God wants to do with them. We are there to help them to Know Him, Love Him and Serve Him and learn how to extend that Christian attitude into the rest of their life.”

If you had chosen another career path, what would it have been? “It is possible that I may have followed the path into an office somewhere as a secretary. I love to do paperwork!”
If you were Superintendent for a day, what would you do? “I would arrange to have the students dismissed early on faculty meeting days so that the teachers can begin-and end their meetings sooner.”
