Amarillo—Tickets remain available for the annual TREAT fundraiser to benefit the Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center, taking place Friday night from 6:30 to 9:00 in the Retreat Center courtyard at 2100 North Spring.
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased on the retreat center’s website, bdrc.org/treat.
“We look forward to you joining us for a wonderful evening of fellowship and fun in our beautiful courtyard,” said Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ Sister Elizabeth Ann Dockery, executive director at the BDRC. “Chef Jason Haschke will prepare a steak and shrimp dinner—petite tender filet with mushroom duxelles and shrimp with a carbonara sauce, potatoes romanoff—cheesy shredded potatoes with bits of smoked bacon, roasted sweet potatoes and a summer harvest veggie medley.
“There will also be extreme charcuterie boards loaded with awesome local selections of cheeses, cured meats, house dried fruits, house seasoned nuts, assorted mini trifles and other delicious homemade desserts.”
The TREAT fundraiser serves as the major fundraiser for the retreat center. There will also be beverages, live and silent auctions, a Calcutta board and entertainment from Patrick Swindell and Esquire Jazz.
Sponsors remain available for the fundraiser at four levels. They include: • Seraphim, at $10,000; • Cherubim, at $5,000; • Archangel, at $2,500; and, • Angel, at $1,000.
“If you are among the many who support the ministry here at the Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center, we encourage you to purchase tickets and/or consider being a sponsor for our TREAT fundraiser, said Sister Elizabeth Ann. “This is our main fundraiser and any and all support is greatly appreciated.”
