What is your full time job?
Pastor
What do you hope to contribute as a member of the Diocesan Assembly Committee?
I believe I bring a wealth of experience as a Priest having served in various ministries and parishes in all four Deaneries these past 22 years. I am presently serving the Church on the Parish, Diocesan, Regional and National levels. My skills and level of expertise in Culture and in Pastoral Planning are a gift to this planning process.
What is your hope for the Diocesan Assembly?
I hope we can bring a deeper commitment to our Diocesan Church, honoring all the wonderful work that has been done in the past and building on the good to make Our Diocese a more vibrant and effective Church. I pray that this process will help us appreciate the beauty of all the cultures within the Diocese and help build a stronger sense of “communion” between all of us.
What is your favorite prayer?
The Liturgy of the Hours prayed with the parish community has become such a gift for me this past year. It has been such a blessing at St. Joseph’s to pray Lauds or Vespers before each Mass.
Other fun or interesting fact about you:
I started practicing playing the “Classical Guitar” again. I played it before I entered the seminary and for several years as a seminarian, but as a priest I just had not taken the time to practice.
