Rural Life Committee

The Mission of the Catholic Rural Life Committee of the Diocese of Amarillo
 
The value of rural communities to the nation and to the Church is incalculable. The Catholic Rural Life Committee exists to promote the gifts and blessings of rural life in general and to strengthen the witness of faith that resides in our country parishes.
 
The Committee strives to achieve its mission through offering opportunities to reflect on and discuss rural issues in the light of our Catholic faith and its social teachings.  We also assist rural pastors in strengthening the practice of the faith through promoting parish and family devotions in honor of St. Isidore the Farmer and Our Lady of Gentle Rain.
